Body of 66-year-old man found in vehicle in Natchez on Thursday

The body of a 66-year-old man was found in the driver’s seat of his vehicle on Thursday evening, WLBT reports.

Investigators with the Natchez Police Department discovered the body in the driver’s seat of a vehicle which was parked on Old Washington Road. The cause of his death is still being investigated. Adams County coroner James Lee found no signs of trauma and believes the man died of natural causes.

Lee said to WLBT, “It was very cold today, and no one should have not been where they couldn’t keep warm. When I arrived, the vehicle was not running and a small blanket was draped across his upper body.
