Bojangles set to make grand debut in Central Mississippi with new Flowood location

A well-known fast-food establishment is set to establish its presence in Central Mississippi for the first time.

Bojangles, a renowned American regional chain of fast food restaurants specializing in Cajun-seasoned fried chicken and buttermilk biscuits primarily served in the Southeastern United States, will soon open its doors in Flowood. The restaurant will be constructed from scratch on Hugh Ward Boulevard.

The mayor of Flowood, Gary Rhoads, officially confirmed this exciting news to WLBT on Thursday. According to WLBT, construction has already commenced, although no specific date has been announced for the grand opening.

Daniel Lang, the director of economic development for the city of Flowood, has stated that there are anticipated plans for further development in the corresponding area of Hugh Ward Boulevard.
