BOMA Honors four dedicated city employees

On Monday, the Board of Mayor and Alderman recognized several dedicated city employees.

After praising the city for a successful Juneteenth celebration and acknowledging the power outages around the city, Mayor George Flaggs Jr. went on to present several individuals with certificates honoring their service to the City of Vicksburg.

Matthew Brogdon was honored for one year of service to the Auditorium department, Ronnie Davis for service to Vehicle Maintenance, and Kayla Hudson for five years service to the City Court.

Kayla Johnson, unable to attend the meeting, was also honored for one year of service to the Ambulance Department.

The Board went on to approve several resignations, rehires and a new hire.
