Bond set for second Red Dot burglar

Bond was set Friday for the second of two men accused of burglarizing Red Dot Self-Storage on Wisconsin Avenue in Vicksburg.

Vicksburg police arrested Timothy Ray Wilkerson, 29, Wednesday, June 17, on two counts of commercial burglary. He appeared before Judge Penny Lawson in Vicksburg Municipal Court Friday. Lawson set his bond at $30,000 and bound him over to the Warren County grand jury.

The first man arrested in connection with the burglaries was Christopher Shaun Johnson, 34. Vicksburg police arrested him Tuesday, June 16, and he appeared before Judge Angela Carpenter Wednesday charged with two counts of commercial burglary. Carpenter set his bond at $15,000 and bound him over to the Warren County grand jury.
