BOS signs Hall’s Ferry pedestrian improvementproject task order from Neel-Schaffer

At Tuesday’s Board of Supervisors meeting, County Engineer Keith O’Keefe brought a task order from Neel-Schaffer for the MDOT-Hall’s Ferry Pedestrian Improvements Project to be signed.
The purpose of this order according to O’Keefe was “for preliminary engineering design of the MDOT-Hall’s Ferry transportation alternative project.”
The design fee for the project is $26,500 “with some additional services on there that are identified on the original service agreement for environmental studies, most of which is going to relate to archives in the history of cultural resources,” said O’Keefe.
“There’s also an estimate,” continued O’Keefe, “for right of way amounts and deeds that could total $10,625 depending on how many parcels…”
The motion was carried, and the task order was accepted unanimously.
