Vicksburg residents arrested in Louisiana following discovery of narcotics


From the Louisiana State Police:
Recently, Troopers assigned to Troop G conducted a traffic stop on I-20 in Bossier City, resulting in a significant discovery. After a thorough search of the vehicle, Troopers successfully recovered approximately one kilogram of cocaine and a small quantity of marijuana.
The driver of the vehicle, identified as Robert Wheatley from Vicksburg, MS, was promptly arrested for engaging in Prohibited acts – Schedule II, Attempt and Conspiracy to Distribute Schedule II, in addition to numerous traffic violations.
Likewise, the passenger, Adleine Bingham, also from Vicksburg, MS, was taken into custody for engaging in Prohibited acts – Schedule II, Possession of Schedule I, Attempt and Conspiracy to Distribute Schedule II, and an outstanding fugitive warrant.
Region 3 Narcotics Investigators from the Bossier Field Office responded to assist and further the investigation as needed.
