Bowmar Bears defeated the Gators 23-16 on Thursday

The Bowmar Bears 5th and 6th grade boys basketball team defeated the Gators on Thursday in a 23-16 win.

Deonta Selvy, Jr. was the top scorer for the Bears, racking up half of the team’s total with 12 points scored in the game. Corbin Walker also stepped up and put 10 points on the board in the victory.

Cameron Sims put up the most points for the Gators, racking up 6 points for his team.

The Bears led the Gators throughout the entire game and took home the big victory under head coach Deonta Selvy Sr.

The Bowmar Bears will be back in action next Thursday at 7:30 p.m. when they take on the Flashes.
