Shooting on Halls Ferry Road

Vicksburg Police are investigating an incident that occurred around 9 p.m. Monday in the parking lot near the Whataburger restaurant on Halls Ferry Road.

Initial reports indicate that multiple shots were fired.

One person is en route to Merit Health River Region. It is unclear if they were struck by a bullet or cut by shattering glass.
