Brenda Joyce Meadows, 72, of Clanton, Alabama, passed away June 3, 2020, at her residence. She was born Oct. 26, 1947, in Louisiana, daughter of Willie Keene and Jewell Louise Rainwater Keene.

She was a server at Goldie’s Trail Bar-B-Que in Vicksburg, Mississippi, from 1993 until 2010.

Surviving are her daughter and caregiver, Kathy J Causey; daughter Shelly A. Noel; sons David Wayne G and Jonathan E Meadows; grandchildren Crystal Bell, Stephanie Brewer, Ronnie Bell, Jennifer Knight, Nakisha Morgan, Heather Morgan Nathan Meadows, Hailey Meadows, Heather Gray, Tyler Gray, Stevie Gray and Jacob Gray; great grandchildren Nevaeh Rae Herrington, Jimah Jewell Herrington, Isaiah Herrington and Mateo Saldona Jr.; and 14 great grandchildren; brothers Tommy L (Shiela) Keen, Justin Knight and Mike (Carolyn) Keene; sisters Gloria (Charlie) Ragsdale and Sue (Bruce) Harkins; and host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Willie Lester King, mother, Jewell Louise Keene, and sister Nancy K Waites.

Friends will be received Saturday, June 13, 2020, from noon to 1 p.m. at Martins Chapel in Clanton, Alabama.

Services will be held Saturday, June 13, 2020, at 1 p.m. at Martin’s Chapel with pastor Glenn Bonds officiating.

Interment will follow in Martin’s Memorial Cemetery in Clanton, Alabama.
