Brown and Riggs represented Vicksburg over the weekend

Vicksburg natives Martin “Smash” Brown and Jeremiah Riggs represented the city of Vicksburg last weekend in their bare knuckle fight matches.

Riggs took on Billy Wagner Saturday in Jackson. Riggs blew out his knee, just shy of two minutes into the fight.

Brown and Robbie Peralta went head-to-head in a five round match. Brown broke his hand in the fourth round and lost in a split decision.

Both Riggs and Brown had numerous supporters in the crowd. Many proud Vicksburg locals were present to cheer the two fighters for competing in the ring.
