Vicksburg native and Ole Miss offensive lineman Ben Brown helped the Rebels to a 59-42 win over South Carolina Saturday.

Brown’s blocking allowed the Rebels offense to score 59 points, the highest score the team has put up all season. Brown started at center and was a key reason quarterback Matt Corral was protected enough to throw for six touchdowns in the big victory.

Brown is a junior at the University of Mississippi and is one of the Rebels best lineman in years. He is a 2017 graduate of St. Aloysius High School.

Ole Miss is now 3-4 and will face No. 5 Texas A&M Saturday.
