Burke came in first place in the triple jump for Millsaps

Vicksburg native Natalie Burke won the triple jump on Saturday.

Burke, who runs for Millsaps College, finished in first place at 10.29 meters (9.25 in.) at the Hendrix Alumni Open. She also finished in sixth place in the long jump and seventh in the 200 meters.

Burke is a graduate of St.Aloysius High School.

Millsaps will participate in the Belhaven Invitational on Mar. 25.
