Since the age of three, Butler has been playing soccer and transformed to become a stellar athlete for the Lady Flashes over the years.
Butler suffered an injury midway through her senior year that put her out for a few games but still managed to excel on defense and got four goals with five assists, along with multiple highlights in her career.
“My most memorable moment is scoring a hat-trick in one of my games,” Butler said.
Butler also received the Golden Boot Award for her soccer team for two years in a row and is a front-runner for the award this year under Head Coach Gio Baldizon.

Besides starring for St. Al, Butler played the Mississippi Rush where she won two State Championships. She was also a Rush-Select where she was one of 18 players in the South to play on that All-Star Team, as well as being chosen to participate in the All-American Showcase.

Before St. Al, Butler played for Warren Central during her 7-9th grade years under Head Coach Greg Head, helping the Vikings to win a district title.
In May 2022, Butler verbally committed to Jones CC. Today, she signed in front of family and friends, choosing Jones CC over Belhaven, Meridian CC and Co-Lin.
“Their soccer program has always been champions or runner-ups and they get players to the next level and the coach really seemed to have a lot of interest in me,” Butler said.
Although Butler put in the hard work over the years to make her dreams a reality, she thanked those who helped make this journey possible.
“I want to thank my parents because without them pushing me to my limits I wouldn’t be going to Jones.”I want to also thank Coach Head and Coach Lawrence for starting off with and Coach Gio and Coach Gilliam for making sure I was being seen and getting my name out along with my Rush coaches.”
Butler plans on majoring in nursing and eventually hopes to earn a collegiate soccer scholarship to a Division 1 school. She is also an outstanding student who scored a 31 on her ACT.
Butler is the daughter of William and Heather Butler.
