Canadian football player transfers to Ole Miss

The Ole Miss Rebels football team will add another transfer player to its roster with Canadian football player Deane Leonard.

Leonard, who was a impact player at the University of Calgary Dinos, made the announcement Wednesday on Twitter.

Last season, Leonard was named to the First Team for the Canada West Conference. He finished the season with four interceptions including two where he scored touchdowns.

Leonard is now the second player this summer to transfer from Canada to Ole Miss. Tavius Robinson joined the team in June.
