Captain America foiled by Clarksdale homeowner

At 3:10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, Clarksdale police responded to a call in the 1500 block of Lee Drive.

When they arrived, police found that the homeowner of the property was holding David Hobbs, 36, at gunpoint.

The homeowner’s alarm went off, reportedly, and he found Hobbs breaking into his shed.

Hobbs was wearing a Captain America costume.

Clarksdale police took Captain America, aka David Hobbs, into custody for burglary. No information is available on the Captain’s mission.
