Car vs. motorcycle accident on Gibson Road

A wreck involving a motorcycle and a car took place on Gibson Road earlier today at 1:40 p.m., reports Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace.

The two people involved were Latoya Williams, 35, and Malik Wilson, 22. 

Wilson was the driver of an eastbound Suzuki 750 CC motorcycle that allegedly veered into the westbound lane striking Williams, driving a Mazda sedan. 

Wilson and Williams were trapped underneath the Mazda sedan until the vehicle came to a complete stop.

No fatalities were reported but both individuals involved in the accident were transported to the River Region Medical Center. Wilson was subsequently transported to the University of Mississippi Medical Center.

This accident is being investigated by the Warren County Sheriff’s office.
