Last March, we visited with Katherine Oldenburg and her team of volunteers that had begun a ministry which made specialized shirts for people undergoing various types of treatment for cancer and other illnesses.

To say that the ministry, which started at Bovina Baptist Church, has grown would be a large understatement. Caring Shirts are now in 47 of the 50 states and numerous countries outside the U.S.

This past Friday, we visited with founder Katherine Oldenburg, Pastor Randy Burns and cancer survivor and church member Barbi Alexander. We all know someone who has been stricken with various diseases, and these amazing shirts created right here in Warren County are bringing comfort, while making the journey a little easier and spreading the word of God.
