Demented clown Ozbo will make an appearance at the "Carnevil."

This weekend will kick start one of the largest Halloween events in Vicksburg: the “Carnevil of Screams,” Warren Central High School’s annual haunted house.

The grand opening is tomorrow, Saturday, Oct. 26 at 6 p.m. in the Vicksburg Mall, 3505 Pemberton Square Blvd. Ozbo, a demented clown and the star of a horror documentary, will be making an appearance.

The hair-raising “Carnevil” isn’t limited to fright seekers. Oct. 27 from 2 to 4 p.m. is set aside for “Chickens and Children.” The cost for this toned down version is $5. Chickens will still be able to go through the full “Carnevil of Screams” but there will be fewer actors and jump scares in the Oct. 27 version.

The “Carnevil of Screams” is nightly from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. from Oct. 26 through Oct. 31. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the door.
