Vicksburg High School girls basketball players Destini Sims, Layla Carter, and Sha’Kora Knight have now all made the Region 4-5A All-District Team for their excellent performances this season.

All three ladies were a huge part of the Missy Gators’ success this season under head coach Troy Stewart, where they now stand as Region 4-5A Champions with a current 16-5 record.

Sims is currently in her junior season where has been an effective player for some time now, helping the Gators to greatness with great ball handling skills and ability to get to the goal.

Carter is a phenomenal sophomore who has really stepped up this season and put many points on the scoreboard.

Knight is currently in her memorable senior year where she has been a go-to player throughout her time at VHS and continues to keep VHS on a good run for the championship.

All three ladies have helped VHS gain a first-round bye week in the playoffs where they can continue to fight for a Championship which will be well deserved for the Missy Gators.
