Cecile Jordan, 1955 – 2020

Cecile Jordan passed away Thursday, July 30, 2020, at her home at the age of 64. She was born in Vicksburg, Mississippi, Oct. 23, 1955, the daughter of the late John Cecil Carlisle and Mattie Mae Johnson Carlisle.

She is survived by her husband, Ray Coleman Jordan, Jr.; son, Steven Chase Sones; daughters Glynnis Alford (Ken) and Allison Sones; brothers John Carlisle (Pat), Steven Carlisle (Pat) and Tommy Carlisle; and grandchildren Miranda Jordan, Elizabeth Jordan and Emily Alford.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2020, at Redbone Methodist Church Cemetery under the direction of Glenwood Funeral Home. Rev. David Samuels will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Mike Stevens, James Gill, Pat Baker, James Hancock and Marcus Davis.
