Cedric Phillips scored a long touchdown for Hinds CC on Thursday

Former Vicksburg High School football player Cedric Phillips scored a long touchdown run for Hinds Community College on Thursday.

Phillips scored on a 30 yard run in the second half of the game in the Eagles’ 50-3 win over Southwest Mississippi CC.

Phillips is a sophomore on the team and was VHS’ lead rusher in 2019 under former head coach Tim Hughes.
