Chances of flash flooding still high this morning. Please be careful.

The rain looks like it will move out of Central Mississippi this afternoon, but the chance of flash flooding is still high today, according to the National Weather Service.

It’s better to be safe than sorry. If roads are flooded, find an alternative route.

Above all else, slow down. Add extra time to make it to your destination safely. Leave more room between you and other vehicles on the road. Shortening your drive time by a few minutes isn’t worth risking your life or the lives of others.
