Cheer on the Gators: Missy Gators still have a big chance of advancing tonight

The Vicksburg High softball team will host the final games of the series against New Hope on Tuesday where they still have a fighting chance of advancing to the next round of the playoffs.

The Missy Gators took a tough 11-1 loss last night in game 1 so they now must win game 2 which will be played at home at 4 p.m.

VHS, who is now 7-13, clinched the district title and week ago and proved that they are willing to take on any team in order to keep their season alive. Being the underdog gives them home field advantage tonight as the town will be out cheering on the Missy Gators.

VHS is the only team in Warren County playing in the playoffs this season as they are coached by Brian Ellis who has led the young team to great heights this year.
