Cheyenne Coulter performs with Pop Fiction one last time
Local musician Cheyenne Coulter will perform her last show with the band Pop Fiction tonight, Saturday, Aug. 13 at Ameristar Casino.
Coulter, who has been a member of the band for the last two years, will showcase her talents one last time as their lead singer. She’s been performing for three years now and has made quite a name for herself in her community as an outstanding musician. As she prepares to take on new endeavors and continue her solo career, fans will have the opportunity to see her take the stage in her hometown along side her pop/rock bandmates.
Coulter has expressed online that this transition will be an emotional experience for her. She mentioned that she will never regret the memories that have been made along the way. During her time with the band, she’s done much more than sing. She’s taken part in networking and booking and has even learned a bass line as well as “hundreds of lyrics, melodies and dances.”
As a solo artist, Coulter seamlessly combines her singing abilities with guitar playing that makes what she does look easy. Her knack for banter with her crowd in addition to passionate vocals makes her stand out and captivate those who have seen her perform. Despite ending a two year run with Pop Fiction, there is no doubt she will manifest success in whatever area of music she pursues.
Following the announcement of her split from the band which she has dearly loved performing with, she stated, “I won’t ever forget the laughs had, the inside jokes, or the charisma we shared.” She closed her announcement by adding, “To all the fans, the supporters, the venues and the sound engineers: I will never forget you. You will always be in my memory and heart.”
Those who want the chance to see this final performance are encouraged to rock out with her this weekend. Pop Fiction will be performing live at the Bottleneck Blues Bar, located in Ameristar Casino in Vicksburg on Aug. 13 at 8 p.m.
