Child predator charges brought to court

VICKSBURG, Miss. (Vicksburg Daily News)–Two charged with sex crimes, living within Warren County, were seen in court today by Judge Jefferson.

Marshall A. Smith and Salvatore Quaglieri were arrested by Warren County Deputies for incidents involving sexual crimes.

Each received a $10,000 bond and was bound over to the Warren County Grand Jury.

Quaglieri was arrested and charged with failure to register as a sex offender after moving from Warminster, PA. In 1992, the State of New York arrested Quaglieri for having sex with a minor under the age of 11. He was again charged in 2006 for raping a child and was listed as a sexually violent predator.

Smith was arrested following deputies serving a warrant on Hoxie Road. Smith is charged with one count of sexual battery of a child under 16.
