Church members took the opportunity to bless senior citizens Sunday morning

Sunday morning, a group from St. Peter Missionary Baptist Church, along with one member of Locust Grove Church, delivered much needed supplies to seniors in Vicksburg.

The group included Betty Noyel, Willie and Issabel Parsons, Lucille Holly, David Montgomery and Pastor Rhagi White from St. Peters, and Carolyn Brown from Locust Grove.

They spent the morning visiting senior citizens and dropping off items such as toilet paper, soft drinks, bottled water and other basics.

The group said they couldn’t hold services but that didn’t stop them from sharing the word of God and blessing others.
