City employee James Herrin recognized for 25 years of service

Vicksburg Mayor George Flaggs Jr. and Alderman Michael Mayfield Sr and Alex Monsour recognized a city employee for his many years of service on Monday.

James Herrin was honored for 25 years of service with the City of Vicksburg at the Board of Mayor and Alderman meeting where he received a certificate presented to him by the city for his many years of hard work.

Herrin currently works in the vehicle maintenance department where he proudly shows up ready to work every day. He was hired with the city in 1996 and has been a great employee ever since.

The City of Vicksburg appreciates the hard work of their employees such as Herrin and the Vicksburg Daily News congratulates him on all of his success.
