City produces new map for scooters

In preparation for the launch of Blue Duck scooters in Vicksburg, the city has produced new maps showing the area where residents and visitors can find and ride the scooters in the downtown area.

The map will be available on the Blue Duck app, which riders must use to rent the scooters. Sam Andrews in the mayor’s office says businesses in the area can request maps from the city to post in store windows as well.

The launch of the service is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 17, at 9 a.m. at the Vicksburg Convention Center, 1600 Briggs Hopson Blvd.
