Claiborne County Sheriff’s Department confiscates weapons from high school baseball game

In a post on social media, the Claiborne County Sheriff’s Department reported that they confiscated weapons from a high school baseball game.

In the report, they said, “Tonight, at the fairgrounds during a high school baseball game, the Claiborne County Sheriff Deputies took possession of these firearms! One person was detained for questioning and is currently being held for further investigation. A big shout-out to Deputy William Mobley and Investigator LaTonya Williams for their vigilant and proactive efforts! As this investigation continues, we encourage the community to actively report any suspicious behavior and ensure that our young ones are held responsible for their actions. Together, let’s make a safer and more accountable community!”
