Classics in the Courtyard is scheduled for the next two Fridays

The Southern Cultural Heritage Center is lined up to host two more Fridays of entertainment following a recently successful event known as Classics in the Courtyard.

This past Friday, the Devil’s Duo performed in the center courtyard of the Southern Cultural Heritage Center. The duo stars the musical power couple, Cindy Veazy and Eric Fowler. The event was catered by Billy’s Italian Restaurant. While the music was free, the meal was just 12 dollars. It included a large drink, lasagna, bread, salad, and a truffle from the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory.

This coming Friday, May 6, there will be more music and more delicious food being served. The event will last from noon to 1 p.m. 10South will be catering and the meal will include penne pasta in a basil pesto cream sauce with chicken, served with a beverage. The event will feature a musical performance by Keys Vs Strings. Lunch will again be 12 dollars.

Next Friday, on May 13, from noon to 1 p.m., the SCHC will host an additional Classics in the Courtyard which will be catered by Goldies Express. A barbecue sandwich with a side and a drink will be served for 12 dollars. The Patrick Smith Band will perform.

The SCHC asks that reservations for meals be made by 5 p.m. on Thursdays. To contact the Center, please call 601-631-2997.
