Clinic on expungement and wills this Wednesday in Jackson

This Wednesday, June 3, the Mississippi Center for Justice and Mississippi Urban League are hosting a major clinic to help Mississippians expunge their record and draft their wills.  They will also provide additional services like financial literacy, foreclosure prevention assistance, voter registration and education on health law.

The clinic well be held at the Mississippi Urban League headquarters located at 2548 Livingston Road in Jackson, Mississippi.

For expungement assistance, attendees MUST bring:

• Felonies: Indictment, Sentencing Order and Discharge Order (if applicable)
• Misdemeanors: Abstract of Court Record

For wills assistance, people MUST bring:

• List of property to be distributed in the will and prospective beneficiaries
• Contact information for beneficiaries/agent
• Copy of driver’s license or state issued ID of the person having the will drafted
