Clinton man sentenced to 110 months for possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute

Derrick “Rat Boy” Lewis, 42, of Clinton, was sentenced to 110 months in federal prison on Thursday for possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.
Lewis was indicted on Nov. 4, 2020 and entered a plea of guilty on July 22.
The sentence will be followed by four years of supervised release for possessing methamphetamine with intent to distribute.
Court records show that, on four separate occassions, Lewis sold over 400 grams of methamphetamine throughout the Jackson metro area. The drugs were later analyzed by forensic analysts and determined to be 99% pure.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation investigated the case. The case was prosecuted by Deputy Criminal Chief Dave Fulcher.
