Hastings, Minn. – CNN Money has listed Anytime Fitness, the world’s largest and fastest-growing co-ed fitness club chain, as one of “10 Great Franchise Bets.” The listing, which was posted on CNNMoney.com, noted Anytime Fitness’ rapid growth rate (nearly 1,600 clubs opened in less than 10 years) and the low loan failure rate amongst its franchisees. Of 147 SBA-backed loans between 2005 and 2010, there were just four defaults, CNN reported. “The success of any franchise is largely dependent upon the success of its individual franchisees,” said Stuart Miller, the owner of Anytime Fitness in Vicksburg. “That’s why we focus so much on providing our members with individualized attention. And it’s why Anytime Fitness clubs are so popular all over America.” Founded in 2002, Anytime Fitness clubs are now open 24 hours a day in 49 states and 10 countries, serving more than 1,000,000 members. Members who join one club can use any of the Anytime Fitness’ 1,600 clubs at no extra charge. “Whether you’re an elite athlete or someone who’s never belonged to a fitness club, we can help you achieve your fitness and weight-loss goals,” said Miller. “And for a limited time, if you ask for the ‘CNN Special,’ we’ll give new members who join the club their first month free.” The full text of the article listing Anytime Fitness as a “Great Franchise Bet” can be found at CNNMoney.com: http://money.cnn.com/galleries/2011/smallbusiness/1106/gallery.great_franchise_bets/6.html TO LEARN MORE ABOUT ANYTIME FITNESS: Visit www.anytimefitness.com.
