Cocktails 101 owner Jonathan Abogado giving out over 200 free lunches Monday

For the third time this year, Jonathan Abogado at Cocktails 101 is doing his part in ending hunger during the Thanksgiving holiday season.

Abogado is excited to provide more than 200 lunches to people in the Vicksburg community on Monday.

The owner says he was able to do the food distribution in 2020 however, the outcome wasn’t what he expected due to COVID-19. He tells Vicksburg Daily News “this year’s food giveaway is something I looked forward to hosting.”

Anyone in the city can pickup a plate that will include chicken alfredo pasta, a bread roll, and a bottle of water.  The distribution will start at the Cocktails 101 restaurant at 1408 Washington Street at 11 a.m.
