Chris We kick off what we’re affectionately referring to our “new season” of Coffee with… interviews from the Parkside Playhouse.  Almost a month of technical problems are over and done with and we celebrate that by heading over to the Vicksburg Theatre Guild’s performance center to meet up with our host Robyn Lea. Robyn was able to corner Daniel Vernon and Andrea Fairchild, both of whom are teachers at Warren Central, for an interview about VTG’s upcoming production of “Breaking Up is Hard to Do: The Songs of Neil Sedaka. Daniel Vernon is serving as the director of the performance, which features six cast members, a live band and a few surprise appearances by some special guests.   (He wouldn’t give us any more information than that!) Andrea Fairchild – who you may recognize from her performances in Gold in the Hills – is one of the six cast members, along with Glenda Arredondo, who we happened to be at the Little Theatre and wound up getting roped into the interview. This 2011 fall season production is slated for six performances beginning this weekend.  The dates are September 9 – 11 and 16 – 18.  Friday & Saturday evening performances will begin promptly at 7.  Sunday matinees will begin at 2. More details can be found at VTG’s website, www.VicksburgTheatreGuild.com. Learn a little about the cast and crew in this extremely entertaining and informative interview.  Press play and enjoy Coffee with the Vicksburg Theatre Guild!
