Gibson Memorial United Methodist Church is, once again, offering their Chocolate-Covered Candy Eggs during this holiday season.

Mary Agnes Westbrook, the organizer of this annual event, recalls they have been making these eggs for more than 40 years. The eggs are $3 each and offered in seven flavors, including vanilla, peanut butter, maple nut, coconut, raspberry, almond, almond/coconut and chocolate. In addition, the eggs can be personalized for no additional charge.

The proceeds from sales are utilized for mission work, including Meals on Wheels, Good Shepherd Center and also to assist people who are experiencing hard times.

There is a limited number of eggs so place your orders early. The eggs will be ready for pick-up at the church, on Oak Ridge Road, the week before Easter. To place an order, call the church office at 601-636-2605 or Mary Agnes Westbrook at 601-415-4428.
