Cole led the Flashes to a win over ACCS; boys came up short

St. Aloysius picked up their second victory this week in a 39-21 win over Adams County Christian School on Tuesday.

Falyn Lusby got the Lady Flashes on the board with a 3-pointer along with a shot by McKenzie Cole to to give St. Al a 6-4 lead. Skylar Connelly  pitched in during the second quarter along with Taryn Lusby and Cole that put the Lady Flashes ahead 17-10 at halftime.

Cole took over the second half by putting up 10 of her points in the third and fourth quarter. Emily Cook also hit two shots in the second half.

Cole led with 16 points and Lusby hit three 3-pointers to finish with nine points. Cook, Taryn and Connelly all finished with four points while Madi Matthews and Maddy McSherry both hit a free throw.

Boy’s game:

The Flashes took a 69-42 loss to ACCS. Will Keen led with 13 points and Korey Simms added eight. Carson Henderson put up seven points, Carson Gleese scored six, Ahmad Stewart contributed five. Carter Henderson scored two points and Anthony McCloud hit a free throw.

The Flashes will travel to Copiah Academy on Thursday.
