VHS popped off the second quarter with another three by Colenburg but things eventually slowed down as they had a problem getting to the basket. They picked up the pace before halftime when Layla Carter and Cynia Johnson were able to put up some easy buckets to go up 29-13 at halftime.

The third quarter all belonged to the Missy Gators as they put much defensive pressure on the Lady Mustangs.

Colenburg led the Missy Gators with 27 points with nine three pointers.

Destini Sims grabbed six rebounds to go with her 21 points followed by Carter who had seven assists, seven rebounds, and nine points.

By the fourth quarter, VHS had a 50-22 lead as they kept things moving along to win their seventh game in a row under head coach Troy Stewart.
