College fund established for son of Justin May

A college fund has been created on behalf of Justin May’s son. May, a security guard at ERDC died as a result of a gunshot wound sustained from a shooting incident at the ERDC main gate on Thursday.

May was transported to Merit Health River Region by Fire Medic 80. Weather conditions made air transport to UMMC too dangerous. May later died as a result of the wounds.

On Dec. 18, a memorial service will be held for May from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Glenwood Funeral Home. It is asked that donations be made to the college fund in lieu of flowers.
