One injury sustained in earlier Interstate 20 crash involving bus

The Mississippi Highway Patrol reported one injury in an earlier crash along Interstate 20.

On Thursday, at approximately 2:15 p.m., the Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to a crash on Interstate 20 east in Warren County.

A 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe driven by Jacqueline James, 57, of Vicksburg, MS, was traveling east on Interstate 20 when it collided with a Vicksburg/Warren County School Bus driven by John Williams, 40, of Vicksburg, MS, also traveling east.

A passenger on the bus Arzella Shepard 73, of Vicksburg, MS, sustained minor injuries. No children were on the bus, and no other injuries were reported.

A collision involving a bus and another vehicle was reported on Interstate 20 East near the Bovina exit.

Initial reports indicate at least one individual with minor injuries.
