Commission chooses magnolia flag
The Commission to Redesign the Mississippi State Flag made its final choice Wednesday.
The winner is the magnolia flag over the great river flag in an 8-1 vote.
In another decision, the name of the flag will be the “In God We Trust” flag, WLBT reports.
The flag will appear on the Nov. 3 ballot where voters will be able to give it a yes or no vote.
