Commission selects nine flag design finalists – Vote for your favorite

On Aug. 14, the Commission to Redesign the Mississippi State Flag selected nine designs to advance to the next round (pending clearance of intellectual property rights).

You can see the nine flags and vote in a nonbinding poll have on the MDAH website at https://www.mdah.ms.gov/flagpoll. A public comment period will begin Aug. 25. The poll and comments section will close at noon Sept. 1.

The commission will meet again Aug. 18 at 8 a.m., Aug. 25 at 10:30 a.m. and Sept. 2 at 10:30 a.m. The commission will select one design to submit to the governor and the legislature at the Sept. 2 meeting.
