Confirmed fatality in Freetown Road collision

A fatality has been confirmed in the two-vehicle near-head-on collision on Freetown Road.

The deceased has been identified by Warren County Deputy Coroner Darryl Carson as 69-year-old Paula Goss Nevels.

All three were extracated from the vehicles by emergency personnel and transported to hospitals.

The crash is being investigated by lead Investigator Daniel Thomas of the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.

One 16-year-old driver and their 15-year-old passenger are still in the hospital at this time.
