Construction accident leaves two injured

A construction accident in Vicksburg has caused injuries to two people this morning.

The accident occurred near the intersection of Clay and Monroe streets in the downtown area around 9:30 a.m.

The injured individuals are being transported by ambulance to the hospital.

The area is blocked off.
