County’s mask giveaway a success

Saturday morning, 245 cars passed through the Warren County mask distribution site set up at the Vicksburg Mall.

In the space of two hours from 10 a.m. until noon, the county distributed just over 6,000 masks. The Warren County Board of Supervisors sponsored the giveaway in conjunction with the Warren County Emergency Management Agency.

County supervisors Kellie Barfield (District 5) and William Banks (District 2) were on hand along with staff from WCEMA, Fire Coordinator Jerry Briggs and volunteer Angela Turner.
