Courtney Logan Boone of Vicksburg passed away on Friday, February 24, 2023. He was 39 years old.

Courtney Logan was a beloved father, son, nephew, and cousin.

He is survived by his mother, Donna Johnson Meadows (Steve Elwart) of Vicksburg; Cayla Williams, the beloved mother of his daughter Chloe of Vicksburg; his aunts, Deborah Johnson Wilson (Roland Wilson) of Biloxi, MS, and Vonda Johnson Striggow (Richard Striggow) of Navarre, FL; stepbrother, Richard Elwart of Vicksburg and cousins, Dani Oldenburg of Vicksburg and Alexandra Oldenburg Ward of Niceville, FL.

Courtney Logan was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Yvonne and Larry Johnson of Edwards, MS. We know Courtney is now resting in the loving arms of his grandparents and of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Those who loved Courtney lost a shining light in their lives.

Eternal rest grant unto Courtney, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him.  May his soul, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.  Amen.

Friends and family will be received at Frank J. Fisher Funeral Home, 1830 Cherry Street, Vicksburg MS, 39180 on Thursday, March 2, from 1-2 pm.  Funeral service will be at 2 pm followed by a graveside service at Bethesda Presbyterian Church, 6688 Canada Cross Road, Edwards MS, 39066 at 3:30 pm.

Pallbearers will be Eric Ashley, James Ashley, Roy Ashley, Bud Meadows, Josh Myers, and Mike Rasch and Honorary Pallbearers will be Richard Elwart, Brandon Palmer, and Richard Vandenakker.
