Update: Vaccinations will resume at the drive through site at Uptown Vicksburg Monday morning, according to Warren County Emergency Management Director John Elfer. If you had an appointment that was canceled due to the recent weather event,you should receive an email or text with notification. Please check your spam folder before making an inquiry. Appointments are generally being rescheduled for the same time as those affected by the cancellations.
The Mississippi Department of Health announced that drive-through COVID-19 vaccination sites in Adams, Lee and Washington counties will be closed today due to winter weather.
All other scheduled sites for the day will operate as usual. If you had an appointment at one of the canceled vaccination sites today, it will automatically be rescheduled for the same time on another day, and you will be notified by e-mail, text or phone message.
Eligibility: Adults 65 and over, and those ages 18-64 with certain chronic health conditions are now eligible for vaccination in addition to healthcare personnel and EMTs/paramedics.
