Crime Report – May 31, 2011

May 26, 2011 11:00 am VPD arrested Derrick Payne, age 21 of 506 Kendra Drive, on a warrant for Third Offense Domestic Violence after police had responded to 1920 Drummond Street, Mac’s Gas, in reference to an assault on May 19,2011 in which Payne assaulted his ex-girlfriend; who did not need medical treatment for her injuries. Payne is being held on a $10,00.00 bond. 1:15 pm VPD took a report of a residential burglary in the 300 block of Hills of the Valley in which a 32″ Sanyo flat screen TV, a Sony Play Station 3 and three Play Station games were reported stolen. 1:30 pm VPD responded to the 100 block of Elizabeth Circle to a report of a residential burglary in progress. The victim reported that she heard a rear window break and upon looking out the back door she saw two black males who fled on foot as she turned around she encountered another black male inside her house who then fled back out the window. The victim provided police with a  description of all three suspects. Police located and arrested all three in the Elizabeth Circle area they are identified as D’Zackary Williams, age 18 of 1716 MLK, Jacourtney Rogers, age 17 of 1201 Farmer Street, and Alerick Powell, age 17 of 144 Elizabeth Circle. All three suspects were charged with residential burglary and are being held without bond pending their arraignment in city court this morning. May 27, 2011 4:04 am VPD responded to 1307 First North Street, Sonud Circuit, in reference to an alarm. Officers found that a window had been broken oout and the onwer report four 12″ Rockford Fosgate speakers missing.]]]]> ]]>
