Crosstown rivals VHS and WC to face each other tonight

Published

on

The wait is over for crosstown rivals Vicksburg High School and Warren Central to face each other as they prepare to go head-to-head Friday night at VHS beginning at 7 p.m.

Both teams showcase talent this season, especially on the defensive side of the ball, which will force WC and VHS to work hard for every score.

WC is coming off a 27-0 win over Forest Hill and VHS took a tough 34-14 loss to Germantown last week, but the Gators and Vikings are more focused on the game at-hand which will give the winner a year’s worth of bragging rights.

Second year head coach Todd McDaniel will be calling the shots for his Gators while 12th year veteran Josh Morgan will be across the field leading the Vikings.

Fans can come out in person and support their local teams and witnesses who will bring home the win. If individuals are unable to make it they can always catch it live at https://www.nfhsnetwork.com/events/vicksburg-high-school-vicksburg-ms/game72ac74baf

Fans can also stay updated with the scores on the VDN Facebook page.
