Culkin Water District has issued a boil water notice

In a recent Facebook post by the Culkin Water District, a boil order has been put into effect.

The boil notice affects all customers who get their water from the following areas:

• Windy Lake Drive
• Windy Lake circle
• Windy Lake Cove
• 600 – 1300 Newitt Vick
• Nottingham
• Choctaw Trails
• Choctaw Cove
• Riverbend Road
• Riverbend Cove

Culkin Water District reports that the system lost pressure due to a break in the line and that the boil notice is a precautionary measure.

Water officials will test samples of the water once pressure is restored.
